1. Data We Collect

When you connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts, MergeHub only accesses and stores the following data:

• Facebook and Instagram messages (incoming and outgoing)
• Conversation metadata (sender, timestamp)
• Your connected social media account IDs
• Message statuses (read, delivered)

No personal data (name, surname, email, phone) is collected or stored outside of message content.

2. How We Use Data

Collected data is used solely for the following purposes:

• Enabling you to send and receive messages from a single panel
• Displaying conversation history in the Vue.js interface
• Synchronizing messages between Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp
• Sending message notifications

Your data is never used for advertising, marketing, or sharing with third parties.

3. Data Retention and Security

Retention: Your messages are temporarily stored on our Node.js backend server. Message history kept in the database ensures synchronization when your connection is lost. You can delete messages at any time.

Our security measures:

• All connections are encrypted with HTTPS
• API tokens are stored as environment variables and never sent to the client side
• Your access tokens are processed in a read-only manner, never saved or shared with third parties
• Database connections are encrypted

4. Your Data Deletion Rights

You can completely delete your messages and conversation history in the following ways:

• Manually deleting any message or conversation from the panel interface
• To request deletion of all your data: Send your request to our support email address. Within 7 business days of receiving the request, all your message and conversation data will be permanently deleted.
• When you remove the app connection via Facebook or Instagram, all associated message data is automatically cleared.

Note: Permanent deletion of messages does not affect records on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) servers. Only copies within the MergeHub system are deleted.

5. Third Parties and API Usage

MergeHub uses the official APIs of Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and WhatsApp. Their own privacy policies also apply:

• Instagram Privacy Policy
• WhatsApp Privacy Policy

Our system does not collect any additional data beyond what it receives through these APIs.

6. Children's Data

MergeHub is not designed for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect data from users under 18. If we detect such a situation, we will immediately delete all related data.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. In case of significant changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email. Continuing to use the application after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
